The Knoxville and Pella Wrestling Squads took to the Centerville Invitational, one of the toughest in season tournament in Iowa and both had strikingly opposite results. The Panthers finished fourth out of 16 team with a total 140 points finishing in front of such powers as Clarinda, and Kirksville, Missouri, who is the four-time defending state champion. Individually, Aaron Crossett won gold in the 170 pound weight class while Colton Spaur was silver at 182, and Tyler Chatterton took bronze in the 160 pound weight class. For the Little Dutch, it was kind of a rough day finishing 15th with 43 points. Jake Speltz finished fourth at 145 pounds. Levi Azinger at 120 pounds had only one loss and also finished fourth, having to forfeit his third place match due to an injury. Chase Petty lost in overtime and finished fifth at 126. Next up for the Little Dutch is a triangular home dual meet on Tuesday at 6:00 against both Centerville and Clarke. Knoxville travels to Oskaloosa on Thursday for a quad against the Indians, South Tama, and class 1A fourth ranked Eddyville-Blakesburg.
