The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce has sold their building at 309 East Main Street in Knoxville. Chamber Board officials tell KNIA/KRLS that they no longer wanted to be in the landlord business, prompting the sale of their properties. Chamber Director Larissa Van Donselaar says the sale price was $58,000. The Knoxville Chamber of Commerce is now leasing their office space from the new buyer. As we’ve reported before, Van Donselaar says they’re currently in talks with the Knoxville Library Board about possible future accommodations on the lower level of the Dixie Gebhardt house.
