The Knoxville High School Hall of Fame Inductions are this Friday.  Two individuals and one team will be enshrined.  One of the inductees is Mike Conway.  Conway was Knoxville’s first ever first team all-state baseball player.  Hall of Fame Committee Member Joe Cunningham says Conway was nearly automatic at the plate with a 569 batting average his senior year.  He also played in the Senior All-Star Game.  A luncheon will be held at the Red Rock Cultural Center at noon Friday to honor the induction class.  Going in along with Conway are Tracy (Flowers) Curren and the 1975 Football Squad.  You can still get tickets at Iowa State Savings Bank for $16.  Tickets will not be sold at the door for the noon event.
