Knoxville Library board members are looking for extra help as they continue renovations of the Dixie Gebhardt house’s upstairs apartment. President Dave Garcia tells KNIA/KRLS News that they could use any volunteer labor, and especially skilled labor. Volunteers have already torn off much of the plaster and exposed bricks on some of the walls. They’re now in the process of sealing that brick and re-plastering walls. Garcia says they’re also hoping someone can help with electrical wiring, and adds they’re in need of many different tools as well, including wire brushes. For more information, call Garcia at 820-0762.
