The Knoxville Wrestling Squad heads to the Little Hawkeye Conference meet today at Grinnell. The Panthers have had a solid season…but recently struggled in dual meets due to illness and other issues. Coach Ron Peterson hopes the unique format to the meet will benefit his team. The format is a round-robin meet that pits each wrestler in an individual tournament in his weight class. This format is different than the traditional tournament format that starts with next week’s sectional. Peterson says this will be a tough meet…but he hopes it will get his team ready for next weekend’s sectional. The latest Predicament Rankings have two Panthers in the class two-A top ten. Aaron Crossett is third at 170 pounds and Colton Spaur is ranked eighth at 182.
