The Iowa DNR has some new fishing license options this year. Fishermen will now be able to purchase an extra permit that allows for three lines to be used at once. The permit needs to be purchased separately from the standard fishing permit which allows two lines. Each line can have a maximum of 2 hooks. The IDNR is also now offering 3 year permits as well. Third line permits cost $12, 3 year permits cost $53.
