With the new year, many people set a resolution. A common New Year’s Resolution is weight loss, but Cathy Pollock, dietitian at Pella Regional Health Center, says that New Year’s weight loss goals often go unfulfilled. She says that most people take on too much at once with their goal, and soon give up. Instead of trying to lose a lot of weight fast she says to take it slow, and make small cuts in your diet. Pollock says that this will make it easier to not give up.
