The Pella Police Department is looking for candidates for their open officer position. Pella Police Chief Robert Bokinsky says that they want an officer who understands that the Pella Police Department is service oriented, and who is a good fit with the community. Bokinsky says that aside from posting the position on the city website, they have also posted ads on a few law enforcement websites. They hope to find candidates within the state for the job. The department will be accepting applications through early February.
