The Corps of Engineers are drawing down the outflow at Lake Red Rock after days of higher outflow than usual. Assistant Operations Manager John Holt, with the US Corps of Engineers Office, says that they store 2 feet of extra water in the lake for waterfowl hunting in the fall. Over the past few days they have been releasing that water at an increased rate to restore the lake to its original levels.
