After tearing through the competition for the first two weeks of the 2013 portion of the season, the Knoxville Wrestling Squad will set its sights on the Centerville Invitational today. Coach Ron Peterson says this is one of the toughest meets in the state because of all the competition they will face including Creston, who he says may cross paths with Knoxville later on in the season. Also in attendance today are two schools out of Missouri who are some of the premier wrestling programs in the Midwest. Lee’s Summit West out of the Kansas City area…and Kirksville, who is the four time defending Missouri State Champions. Peterson says his team is looking forward to the challenge.
