It wasn’t pretty but the PCM boys’ basketball team prevailed to improve to 14 – 1, beating Roland-Story by a final score of 44 – 40. The Mustangs’ defense prevailed once again, holding Roland-Story to just 14 second half points. Ethan Kain led the way with 11 points, while Nate Vande Wall and Dillon Bruxvoort each had nine points. North Polk also beat Nevada tonight, handing them their first conference loss of the season, meaning that the Mustangs are now in first place overall in the conference, but are still tied in the loss column. The 14 – 1 PCM boys will next play at home against Colfax-Mingo on Tuesday.
