The Mustangs’ basketball teams dealt the brooms to Greene County Friday night. Coach Fred Lorenson tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that his guys did just enough on defense to win 48 – 43. Alex DeWitte had 16 points and Ethan Kain poured in ten. The girls doled out some revenge in their game; after losing by the slimmest of margins earlier in the season, the Mustangs came out firing, winning their contest 50 – 28. The PCM boys remain hot at 12 – 1 and 8 – 1 in Heart of Iowa play, while the girls improve to 7 – 6 overall and 6 – 5 in the conference. Next up is a trip to Jewell to face South Hamilton on Tuesday.
