PCM was victorious 64-52 on the road Saturday night as they faced Marion County rival Pella High in the Tulip City. The Little Dutch rallied in the fourth to deplete part of the deficit, but the 21 point advantage for PCM in the middle two quarters proved to be too much. Pella saw 48 of their 52 total points come from their starting five, with Bryce Bortscheller leading the way with 14. Alex DeWitte led the way for PCM with 16 points, while Hunter Van Veen scored 15 off the bench. The loss drops Pella High to 5-3 overall with another Marion County and conference rival Knoxville coming to town Tuesday. The victory was the tenth on the season for Head Coach Fred Lorenson and the Mustangs who will now prepare for two home conference games next week with Gilbert and Greene County coming to Monroe Tuesday and Friday, respectively.
