Getting swept at the hands of Nodaway Valley on Friday, the Pleasantville basketball squads will try to find some traction tonight at home versus visiting Central-Decatur for a doubleheader. The Trojans’ girls are still focused on bettering themselves in each of their games, as they are still without a win on the season. Tonight won’t be any easier for them, as the Cardinals have won their last six contests. Coach Tom Wilkins’ boys will be facing the 4 – 7 Cardinals, who have lacked consistency in their offense as of late. Meanwhile, Pleasantville struggled in the first game of 2013 against Nodaway Valley, failing to get much offense going against the undefeated Wolverines. Coach Wilkins wants his team to “man up” and not be “as nice” and to show some enthusiasm on the court. Tonight’s doubleheader action tips off with the girls’ game at 6:15 p.m.
