It was a rough night in Pleasantville for the Trojans’ basketball teams Tuesday night, as I-35 came in and won both the girls’ and boys’ match-ups. Pleasantville’s girls fell 55 – 35, while the boys dropped an overtime thriller 58 – 57. The Trojans’ boys had a two-point lead in the winding seconds, when I-35 threw up a desperation three from the corner that missed, the rebound ended up in the hands of an open Roadrunner who sank a three from the top of the key as the buzzer sounded to walk off with the victory. Dylan Lauer had 23 points and Trevor Zoss contributed 17 in the loss for the Trojans, who will next play at home against Mount Ayr on Friday.
