The slick roads led to multiple rollover accidents this morning. On Highway 102 near Peoria, a black Chevy Blazer slid off the roadway and rolled down a large, steep embankment. The accident occurred around 9am. Two female occupants were transported to Pella Regional Health Center with non life-threatening injuries. Pella Rural Fire, the Pella Ambulance, Iowa State Patrol, and Motor Vehicle Enforcement responded to the scene. Earlier in the morning another rollover accident was reported on Highway 102 and Cordova Avenue. That accident had no serious injuries.
