Vermeer Vice President of Human Resources Lin Chapé has been named as a STEP Award Winner. The STEP Awards honor those who have made a difference in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Production. Chapé is one of 122 women honored with the award by the Manufacturing Institute. Jennifer McNelly, President of the Manufacturing Institute, says that each of these women have had a positive impact on both their company and the industry as a whole. Vermeer CEO Mary Andringa says they are thrilled that one of the company’s employees was chosen by this important new initiative.
