The Pella School Board has been reviewing aspects of the Facility Plan for several meetings, and have decided a special election will be held on April 2nd for a bond issue. School Superintendent Greg Ebeling says that the facility plan is important for the district and the community because high quality school facilities are a big draw for new people coming to the community. The Bond issue will cover construction of a new Lincoln Elementary, and a Career Academy. A full list of items in the facility plan can be found at the district’s website and in each of the schools.
