Fifth Place and Revenge at Stake for Dutch Wrestling Tonight

Central wrestling is looking to exact a measure of revenge to Loras College tonight in the Iowa Conference Duals Finals in Dubuque. The two squads went head-to-head back on January 10 in the first dual meet of 2013 for both teams, and it was the Duhawks that upset the then-No. 15 Dutch, 27 – 14. Interim Athletic Director and head wrestling coach, Eric Van Kley, told KNIA/KRLS Sports that his guys do remember what happened against Loras almost a month ago, and that they will be ready to grab some more momentum heading into almost a month-long lull before the Division III regional tournament to qualify for the national championships in March. The two schools will be grappling for fifth place in the Iowa Conference, and they’ll get things underway at 7:00 p.m. tonight.
