Flu Season Winding Down, but Still Persistant

Influenza cases have been decreasing in the past several weeks, but activity is expected to continue until late March or April. That’s according to Judi Van Hulzen, a nurse at Marion County Public Health. Van Hulzen says some schools across the state are still experiencing outbreaks. She reminds people to practice the three Cs – clean hands frequently, cover coughs and sneezes, and contain flu activity by staying home when ill.
