Getting beat in the district final against Grinnell last Friday, 58 – 44, the Pella High boys’ basketball team and their coach, Mark Core, still have the bad taste in their mouth from the loss. Core said that the game was one that is still stuck in his, and hopefully his players’ heads. The Little Dutch head coach also said that all season long, his guys did a great job of keeping late leads as well as battling back into games when they were faced with even double-digit deficits. The Pella boys’ finished the season at 14 – 9.
