TAIKOPROJECT is coming to Central College. Taiko is a Japanese drum style, and TAIKOPROJECT, founded in Los Angeles in 2000, blends traditional Taiko style with an American style. TAIKOPROJECT was the first group from America to win the Tokyo International Taiko Contest. Afterwards they have performed on various television shows and with famous artists like Stevie Wonder and Kanye West. They will perform at Central College on Tuesday at 7:30pm.
