Tuesday’s stunning announcement from the International Olympic Committee to drop wrestling as a supported sport in the Olympics has got a lot of reaction around the nation and in Marion County. Knoxville High School Athletic Director Randy Wilson, himself a past Olympian in 1980 told KNIA/KRLS that it would be very disappointing to see wrestling dropped by the IOC. Wilson talked with KNIA/KRLS’s Dr. Bob Leonard about the IOC decision and his hopes that they will reverse course.
