The Knoxville City Council has made new housing development a priority for the upcoming fiscal year. Assistant City Manager Dylan Feik tells KNIA/KRLS News that the City Council has set aside $350,000 of one-time project funds to accomplish that goal. Feik says staff is considering a number of different options for that development. A public hearing for the new budget is set for March 4th; the proposed budget will be published this week.
