Knoxville Schools, Law Enforcement Discuss Safety

Knoxville School District staff met with law enforcement Thursday afternoon to discuss school security and safety procedures. The conversation included not just teachers and administration, but other staff members as well, including custodial, food service, and transportation. Superintendent Dr. Randy Flack says that the issue of school safety is on the forefront of everyone’s mind. He says that there are several things they can think about as they review policies and recheck procedures NWS1101 Knoxville Police Chief Dan Losada says staff asked great questions and he was happy to see how involved everyone was in the discussion.
