The Shriners stopped by Knoxville High School yesterday to present Panthers Football Standout Aaron Crossett an award for being selected to this summer’s Shrine Bowl. Crossett will join many of the best high school football seniors from this past fall on the South Squad July 27th at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls. Crossett told KNIA/KRLS Sports that it is an honor to play with the best players in the state from all classes. Crossett will not be alone on the South Squad, as he will joined by his coach Knoxville’s Troy Rider. Rider says Crossett’s hard work and dedication to the game is why he was selected to play. There are other players from the area on the South Squad this season. P-C-M’s Ethan Kain was also selected to the South team as was P-C-M Head Coach Greg Bonnett.
