Long-Awaited Rematch Between Mustangs and Eagles Tonight

PCM and Pella Christian played each other close in their first meet-up back in early December, and tonight, the two will butt heads again, but this time, with a trip to Ottumwa and a substate final riding on the outcome. Their first game ended 61 – 55, with PCM taking advantage of some late Eagles turnovers to come away with the victory. Eagles’ head coach, Larry Hessing, said that it has been two long months since they have faced each other, and that both teams have grown and matured as a ball club since then. Tonight’s big Class 2A game will be aired live on 92.1 KRLS and streamed live at KNIAKRLS.com with Cory Houser and Justin Webster on the call in Oskaloosa. Pregame coverage starts at 6:30 p.m. with tip-off at 7:00. A win by Mustangs’ coach, Fred Lorensen tonight would be the 500th of his career.
