The Pleasantville girls fell to the Blue Devils of Martensdale-St. Mary’s on Thursday night, 57-43, in the opening round of regional play. The Trojans fell down 10-0 in the first quarter but then went on a 9-0 run to close the gap. Martensdale was able to pull away in the second half and take home the win, thanks to Riley Dunn sinking five shots from behind the three-point line. Sophomore Kennedy Core led all Trojans with 30 points on the evening. Pleasantville finishes the year with a 1-22 record.
