Melcher Dallas’ girls’ and boys’ basketball teams wished they could play Seymour more than twice in a season, as they each swept the season series over them on Friday night. All ten of the Saints’ ladies scored for Coach Jon Suntken, as he was rotating them in almost hockey-like line shifts in a 49 – 17 win. Jesse Anderson led the way with a double-double effort of 11 points and 15 rebounds. Lexi Crozier also had ten points. It was a 77 – 17 victory for the Saints’ boys, thanks to 29 points from Kenneth Waddle and 14 from Ross Dawson. Melcher-Dallas’ girls are 6 – 14, the boys are 9 – 9, and each team will go to Bussey on Tuesday for their Coaches vs. Cancer game.
