The Knoxville Wrestling Squad embarks on the postseason today as the Panthers travel to Albia for the Class 2A Sectional. The Panthers finished off the regular season on Tuesday with three easy wins to raise their dual meet record to 15-8 on the season. However, this is a traditional meet where Coach Ron Peterson has said all season that he thinks his team is built for the traditional meets. He adds the Sectional in Albia is no easy task. Joining the Panthers will be Albia, Centerville, Chariton, Davis County, Grinnell and Chariton. The top two wrestlers in each weight class advance to the district next week in Knoxville. The top two teams will advance to the Class 2A Regional Duals next week at a site to be determined. The Sectional gets underway at noon.
