The Pella City Council met last night for their regular meeting. The council approved March as Athletic Training Month with a crowd of around 30 Central students and staff attending in support of the declaration. They voted to approve new rules for placing banners in the right of way around Central College. They also approved road closures for the Klompen Classic. In a policy and planning session following the meeting, the council decided to apply to be a pass through town for Ragbrai. Riders would stop through Pella after an overnight stay in Knoxville, and before arriving in Oskaloosa.
