With less than a week to go before the first meet, Knoxville Girls tennis Coach Nick DeMoss is trying to fill his top six varsity players for the upcoming season. Two of his players from last year are returning and look to be one of the six varsity players in singles are Kassie Griggs and Paige Spowart. After that DeMoss says several girls could figure into the mix. DeMoss ads Madison Chrisman, Hannah Cunningham, Emily Blankenship, and Natalie Worrall all figure to challenge for a varsity slot. He says there is a good young group coming in that figures well for the future.
