Yesterday on In Depth, we discussed the fact that the citizens of Pleasantville are facing the possibility of a 13% increase in their water bill every year for the next five years, for the city to be in compliance with EPA water quality standards. We learned why is this happening, what the process of compliance is, and what the alternatives are. Today we learn about the science behind why the changes to the Pleasantville waste water system are needed.
