It’s Showtime for Pella Christian Boys’ Basketball

The waiting and anticipation is over. Round one of the Class 2A state boys’ basketball tournament is upon us and both Pella Christian and Sheldon are ready to get things underway. The Orabs enter play with a 22 – 3 record with the three losses being by a combined six points. Their leading scorer, Dallas Ennema, will be the tallest player on the court at 6’7”, and averages about 21 points per game. The team as a whole is 11th in the state in all classes in field goal percentage, sinking 51.8 percent of their shots. The 20 – 4 Eagles counter with Austin Ver Meer and Sebastian Baugh, who combine to average 26 points per game.
