The Knoxville Girls Bowling Squad finished seventh and the boys placed ninth at yesterday’s Class 1A State Bowling Meet in Des Moines. The girls finished with a pin total of 2,493…which was 362 from first place Dubuque Walhert. The Panthers were led by Mackenzie McCarty who rolled a 344, good enough for 24th indivudiualy. Mackenzie Boyd also finished in the top 30 with a 29 place. On the boys side…the Panthers finished ninth with 2,888 pins which was 488 from first place Dubuque Wahlert, who swept the team titles. Sam Piagentini rolled a 424 which was good enough for 17th place.
