Pella Christian’s girls’ golf coach, Larry Hessing has three girls returning to his team this season that are just coming off of a successful basketball campaign. Cori Uitermarkt, Autumn Vos, and Savannah Baugh are all back for Hessing, and while he says that golf isn’t as physically demanding and a tad less competitive than basketball is, you don’t have your colleagues there to back you up and help out. The Pella Christian girls’ golf season starts with a dual meet against Colfax-Mingo at the Pella Golf & Country Club on April 2.
