An artist reception is coming up with John Preston, whose work is on display at Central’s Mills Gallery. Preston’s work features scenes from around Iowa, particularly broad landscapes. Preston says that Iowa’s expansive horizons have continued to hold his interest since moving from the east coast. He will take part in a reception next Wednesday, where he will be present to talk with the public about his work.
