We’re less than a month away from the first cars turning laps at the Knoxville Raceway. Their free practice night is scheduled for April 13th. Race Director John McCoy says this season’s rules will remain close to those from last year. The 410 class will be moving to Hoosier tires in 2013, similar to those already being used in the 360 and 305 classes. There will also be no carbon fuel injectors allowed this season, and the courtesy lap rule will be in place in all events for flit tires only. Drivers at Knoxville may compete in both 360s and 410s, but those drivers may not participate in the 305 class.

The defending champions are Terry McCarl in the 410 class, Clint Garner in the 360 class, and Matthew Stelzer in the 305 class.
