The PCM girls’ soccer team is showing some early initiative this season for head coach, Craig Naeve. He tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that a trio of returning players have stepped up and showed a tremendous amount of leadership in the off-season so far. Naeve added that he has two new assistant coaches this season, a returning coach that was a four year player at Central, and for the first time in his career, he has a keeper coach to help out with the goalies. The Mustangs will be loaded with speedy and skillful freshmen this year that Naeve said should be a good fit with his returners. His only concern is the defense, as he lost three starters to graduation from the 2012 team. The PCM girls can officially start soccer practice this Monday.
