Representatives from the Pella Area Development Corporation visited with lawmakers in Washington D.C. recently to discuss projects of local interest. Karen Eischen with PADCO says that meeting with Senators Harkin and Grassley, and Congressman Loebsack was very helpful. She says that meeting with Loebsack was particularly interesting because Pella is in his district for the first time. Eischen says that the representatives were very helpful in directing PADCO to contacts in other federal organizations.
