The Knoxville City Council will take official action on canceling the scheduled 5% sewer rate increase during their regular meeting on Monday. As part of the 2013-14 budget, City Manager Harold Stewart says they’ve been able to balance the sewer budget without the projected rate increase and plan on canceling it. The Council will also hear an update on the Expansion Project from the Library and discuss RAGBRAI. The meeting starts at 6:15 at Knoxville City Hall. You can hear it live on 1320 KNIA.
