Yesterday’s early morning snowfall left roadways covered and slick, leading to multiple accidents in the county. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office received 5 reports of vehicle accidents in the county, as well as Sheriff’s Deputies encountering more on the roadways. The Pella Police Department received 3 reports of accidents, two within the city limits with no injuries, and a Mahaska County accident responded to by Pella Fire and Ambulance. Around two inches of snow fell in the county.
