A suicide support group is holding their first meeting on Thursday. The Safe Place was started by Shelly Braley, whose daughter took her life in 2010. Braley says the Safe Place will offer a confidential environment for families, friends, and loved ones to process their feelings and emotions as well as offer comfort and support to those working through their grief process. Behavioral Health Specialist Angie Riepe says she’ll also help those survivors work through through the feelings of grief, loss, and loneliness. The group meets for the first time Thursday from 6:30-8:30pm at Celebrate Community Church.
