A program on Thursday evening could help recreational landowners increase their hunting success. Marion County Farm Bill Wildlife Biologist Danny Simcox says he’ll help landowners manage their property while improving deer, pheasant, quail, and turkey habitats and populations. Simcox says he’ll discuss a variety of techniques, including cover crops, hinge cutting, shrub planting, and more. The workshop gets started at 6pm tonight at the Marion County Extension Office.
