Wrestling On Feet And Attacking Were Key Improvements For Knoxville

If there was one thing that the Knoxville Wrestling Squad improved the most on this season was wrestling on their feet. Coach Ron Peterson says the guys really improved their stance and were able to fight off attacks from their opponents so they could counter. He adds some of the guys were so good at hand fighting that many times they would walk off the mat victorious and have a few “battle scars” on their face. Knoxville won 15 dual meet matches and sent two wrestlers to the state meet…Aaron Crossett who finished eighth and Colton Spaur who finished fifth.
