A 25-year-old Knoxville woman was arrested on Thursday after an accident earlier this month left two people injured. Kyria Mumford was allegedly driving on 165th Avenue at high rates of speed on April 12th in an attempt to take jumps off of gravel hills. According to court records, two backseat passengers were ejected from the vehicle during one jump, including one that broke her leg in the process. Mumford has been charged with several misdemeanors and one felony – serious injury by vehicle. She’ll appear in court next on April 26th.
