They’ve dealt with the weather and they’ve dealt with a bigger conference schedule, but maybe the biggest thing so far this year for the Central baseball team is how they’ve dealt with and responded to losing streaks. Adam Stevens, Dutch head coach says that all season long, his guys have done a great job of bouncing back. A big point of pride for Stevens’ crew during this spring season is that the team’s biggest losing streak this year has been two games, which they’ve done three times. Most recently, after losing to Coe this past Sunday, Central came from behind in both games against Simpson to snap that streak and start a more positive one. Even with the soggy weather that has blanketed Iowa the past few days, the Dutch will still attempt to travel up north this weekend to Wartburg for a four-game conference series, with the first two games being aired live on 92.1 KRLS.
