Cornell College was the first victim to the Central men’s tennis team this spring season, as the Dutch prevailed 6 – 3 on Thursday. Central was able to sweep the doubles matches, and the middle of their singles’ line-up also faired very well in the win, which improves Central’s record now this spring to 8 – 4 and also breaks their two match losing skid. The Central men will be playing at home this Saturday against a pair of league opponents in Loras and Dubuque at the A.N. Kuyper Athletics Complex. The first matches against the Duhawks are scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m.
