The cold, rainy weather forcing most practices inside, the Pella Christian boys’ track and field team has had their attention turned to working on mechanics in various events. For instance, after seeing them in a few outdoor meets, Coach Keith Anderson says that he has had the guys work on cleaning up the relay races during their hand-offs. Anderson added that his jumpers haven’t had a lot of time outside, either, in the long jump pit or for the high jump, so he’s had them work on steps and form for each of those events, as well. A big meet is coming up tomorrow for the Eagles’ boys, as they’ll head to Oskaloosa with a full squad for a Co-Ed meet scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m.
