Eagles’ Girls Blank Centerville, Big Red Shuts out Boys

Pella Christian’s girls’ soccer team got back on track Monday night, shutting out visiting Centerville, 5 – 0. Morgan DeRuiter and Abby Pleima each found the back of the net twice for the Eagles, and Courtney Nikkel also tallied a goal for Pella Christian. The Eagles are now 4 – 7 on the season, and they end their five-game homestand with a 3 – 2 record. They will be playing at Norwalk later tonight. Meanwhile, the boys had a little tougher time against the Big Red, losing 2 – 0. The 1 – 7 Eagles’ boys will host Norwalk later tonight.
